AIDD is a clinical decision support tool for educational and informational purposes only. It does NOT provide a medical diagnosis and is NOT a replacement for a licensed healthcare professional. Always consult a qualified doctor before making any health decision. AIDD is best used to prepare informed questions for your healthcare provider.

Yes. All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Your images are stored on Cloudinary's secure servers. EXIF location data is stripped from every photo upon upload. Your name and email are never sent to any AI engine. We never sell your data. We comply with GDPR, HIPAA (aligned), COPPA, and Kuwait's PDPL.

AIDD is designed to be family-safe. Children under 13 (COPPA regions) or under 16 (EU/UK) require verifiable parental consent. For minors, all analyses automatically recommend in-person professional evaluation, emergency alerts have lower thresholds, and data retention is minimized.

AIDD covers four kingdoms: Human — skin, eyes, symptoms, disease ID using PubMed, WHO ICD-11, DermNet NZ. Insect — species ID, danger level, venom, disease vector (14,000+ species). Plant — health, disease, treatment (400+ diseases). Animal — breed ID, health conditions, veterinary guidance using The Cat API, Dog API, and PubMed veterinary literature.

AIDD uses GPT-4o vision cross-referenced against 37 million PubMed articles and specialized databases. Every report includes a confidence score — photo-only analyses are capped at 70% maximum. Accuracy improves significantly with clear close-up photos and a detailed symptom description. Always verify with a medical professional.

AIDD's safety engine scans every analysis for patterns matching 40+ emergency conditions including chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reactions, and sepsis indicators. If detected, it immediately escalates with local emergency numbers. Even if you believe the alert was triggered incorrectly, consult a medical professional to rule out a serious condition.

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password? and enter your registered email. A 6-digit reset code will be sent to your inbox — check your spam folder too. Enter the code along with your new password. Codes expire after 15 minutes. If you no longer have access to your email, contact support@embur.world with your full name.

AIDD uses your device's built-in Face ID or Touch ID. Your biometric data is processed entirely on your device by Apple's Secure Enclave — AIDD never receives, stores, or transmits it. We only receive a pass/fail result. To enable it, log in once with your email and password and tick "Remember me."

AIDD is a strictly educational medical tool. Acceptable photos: skin conditions, eye conditions, wounds, insect specimens, plant leaves and stems, and animals. Sexually explicit content, gratuitous nudity, or any content sexualizing minors is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate permanent account ban and referral to law enforcement.

In the app, go to Profile → Request Account Deletion. All personally identifiable data will be permanently deleted within 30 days per GDPR's Right to Erasure. You can also email privacy@embur.world with the subject "Account Deletion Request."

To report an error in an analysis, contact support@embur.world with your session details so we can investigate and improve.

No. AIDD requires an internet connection. The analysis pipeline connects to our AI servers and medical databases (PubMed, WHO ICD-11, Kindwise, etc.) in real time. Your past analyses are stored and accessible in the History tab when online.

Yes. The Animal subject covers domestic pets (cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, reptiles), farm animals (horses, cows, goats), and wild animals. Select Animal, choose the type, and upload a clear photo. For serious animal health concerns, always consult a licensed veterinarian.
